What does it mean to become a "whole person"? How does it happen? Is it something that occurs outside our awareness? This class will explore Jung's great concept of individuation, the lifelong process of integrating our fragmented psyche into a more actualized personality. We will use The Principle of Individuation, by the popular Jungian writer Murray Stein, as a blueprint for exploring these questions. Lectures with handouts and video clips will add to the discussion. | Recommended Readings: The Principle of Individuation, Murray Stein; The Undiscovered Self, Carl Jung
