Discover how journaling can facilitate healing, creativity, and change. Recent studies indicate that journaling is an effective way to clear the mind in order to allow new thought patterns to emerge. These new patterns correspond with changes on a chemical and cellular level. The simple act of journaling is a mind/body experience that can help us take on challenges and move forward in ways we never imagined. Through lecture, writing and sensory experiences, this class explores the connections that exist between thoughts, experiences, sensory awareness, and the ongoing wellbeing of the mind and body.
Angela Caughlin, LCSW is an author, psychotherapist, and workshop presenter. Her books, The Only Way…Through, and Journaling Your Way…Through, were published in June, 2006. In her career as a psychotherapist, Angela has been in private practice since 1993 and continues to work with those facing change, loss and grief issues.
