What is emotional intelligence? Emotions, whether welcomed or not, are always present in our lives. How can we be present to them in a fruitful way? In this class, we will look at how our perception and understanding of emotions contributes to whether they help or hinder us. Participants will have the opportunity to safely explore emotions and learn more about their own emotional intelligence through intentional play, laughter and creative expression. Activities include improvisation, art, and experiential learning activities. As participants become more fully present to their emotions, they will be able to make more conscious and empathic choices.
