Writing to Navigate the Transitions of a Woman's Life

Take "A Walk on the Beach" with Joan Anderson as your guide. No matter your age, there are pivotal moments that have presented you with important choices. In this class, we'll write the stories surrounding those choices and how we have navigated the subsequent transitions.

  Sandi Stromberg, MA, is an award-winning poet and magazine feature writer. Her poetry has recently been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and has been published in many journals and anthologies, including The Weight of Addition: An Anthology of Texas Poets. The goal of her classes is to help women access the stories they have to tell. She is a writer/editor and manager of external publications at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
