Explore life as a contemporary woman, with essayist Meghan Daum as guide. In this class, we'll delve into the various corners of our existence to write the eccentric and ordinary experiences that have helped form who we are. There will be in-class and take-home assignments. The two sessions are independent and students may take either one or both. Required reading: My Misspent Youth, Meghan Daum.

 

 
  Sandi Stromberg, MA, is an award-winning poet and magazine feature writer. Her poetry has appeared in several journals and anthologies. She works as a writer/editor and manager of external publications for MD Anderson Cancer Center and recently received the Lone Star Award for Public Relations Communicator of the Year.
