Can we claim the place each of us is called to occupy in contemporary society—even when it isn't one of the available options? In this class, we will explore our attitudes and describe the multiple personas we have worn over the years, as we have grown from little girls to young ladies, to the women we are today. A powerful way to explore innermost truths, writing can reveal our authentic selves. Students will be encouraged to embrace the personal empowerment that comes from telling and listening to each other's life stories, but sharing is not required. Students may join either or both sessions.
