Draw on the natural healing power of the imagination through C.G. Jung's therapeutic method of active imagination. During a time of disorientation, crisis, and inner turmoil in his life, Jung found that returning to the symbolic play of his childhood led to self-healing. The class format will involve lecture, discussion, and an introductory engagement with the process of active imagination.
Required reading: Jung on Active Imagination, Joan Chodorow, ed.
