Explore the interior of memory to excavate the sense of adventure, courage, strength, humor, empathy that enables you to face midlife with enthusiasm. We will use writing prompts to entice the Muse to help conjure the images of memory to put on paper. Sharing what we write with others in the group is very empowering, for there is great power in listening to each other's stories and the wisdom therein. The choice of sharing one's writing, however, is always a personal decision.

Joyce Boatright, Ed.D, author of Telling Your Story: A Basic Guide to Memoir Writing, has been teaching memoir since 1992.
