What is intimacy anyway? How does it affect the complexities of our lives and relationships? Does it influence the quality and direction of our individuation? Depth psychology offers a unique perspective on what intimacy and relationships are—and what they can be.

Key moments of change, uncertainty, and crisis, whether spiritually, physically, or emotionally, are calls for us to grow and mature in our relationships —both with ourselves and with others. These moments force us to experience the fragility of our understanding of the world, and we have to risk the safety of our old ways of thinking and being in order to move closer to wholeness.

Healing the wounds that influence intimacy always involves a renewal of our creativity. This two-day retreat will explore the nature of intimacy through a unique combination of lecture, dialogue, sound, claywork, drawing and painting, sandtray symbols, collage, film clips, authentic movement, and journaling. Over these two days, we'll have an opportunity to leisurely, and with intention, weave known and unknown images and their meaning into your soul's story of intimacy. No experience is necessary, and you can attend by yourself or with a partner, spouse, parent, adult child, or friend. All are welcome. Please bring a journal or notebook and wear casual, comfortable clothing.
