Awakening the Flame of Heart-Centered Motivation

What is it that fuels our motivation for truth? In ways small and large, each of us experiences the impulse to know oneself—and to be oneself. The renowned philosopher and teacher A.H. Almaas captured this essential human need in the image of the flame. That flame of the soul burns with an all-consuming desire for understanding. In this class, we will discuss the manifestation of the flame from the perspective of Almaas' Diamond Approach, understand its impact on one's spiritual journey, and identify personal barriers to one's motivation for truth. The presentation will include opportunities for experiential learning, personal inquiry, and group discussion.

Gina Crago is a principal teacher in the Ridhwan School, home of the Diamond Approach, a spiritual teaching devoted to realizing our full human potential. She has been involved in the Diamond Approach since 1985 and teaches in groups located in Denver, Houston, Boston, and Germany. Gina lives and practices in Denver, Colorado.
