Laugh your way to stress relief in this fun and innovative approach to meditation and relaxation.

Experience laughter yoga, play-based breathing, and movement exercises practiced for health and wellness. Not in a good mood? No sense of humor? No problem. Fun and easy to do, laughter yoga increases the oxygen supply to the brain and body, potentially resulting in reduction of stress and physical pain, a strengthened immune system, and improvements in blood pressure. A concluding guided meditation and talk follows the exercises. No yoga mats or exercise clothing is needed.

 
 

Lainie Diamond is a certified laughter yoga instructor trained by Vishwa Prakash. At the Houston Public Library, she leads Houston, we have Laughter!, Houston's first free, weekly, and open-to-the-public laughter yoga meeting. Her Houston clients include Bering Omega AIDS Community Services and Camp Victory!
