When, where, and how do we become authentic and whole women? How can the relationship between a mother and a daughter either support or hinder this process for one or both women at key moments in their development? The workshop will be an opportunity to explore this process of emergence and its complexities. The collective wisdom found in myths, fairytales and film will aid our understanding of our own individual journeys. Lecture, individual and group exercises, and discussion will also support our work together throughout the day.

Karen Magee, MA, LMFT, LPC, is a graduate of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, a former faculty member for the Jungian Studies Program at Saybrook University, and a senior training analyst for the TX Seminar of the Inter-Regional. She has been an instructor at The Jung Center for more than 20 years and is known for her work with ethics and the use of film as a means for psychological exploration. A member of The Jung Center's Board of Trustees, Karen works with individuals, couples, and families in her private practice.
