Debbie Mills

Yogic Tools for the Physical and Subtle Anatomy

Popular teacher Debbie Mills explores the ways yoga can enhance the flow of energy in the body during this two-day retreat.

Saturday and Sunday, February 20 & 21
10 am - 4:30 pm (1.5 hour lunch break)
$220 ($180 Jung Center members)

Discover how breath lengthening and control (pranayama) and engaging the energetic locks in the body (bandhas) can enhance the flow of subtle energy (prana). Proper practice of these techniques tones the internal organs, opens the energetic centers, and focuses the mind, culminating in a more integrated body/mind complex. When the practitioner begins to understand the special effort required to achieve effortlessness in practice, theses practices come alive. Participants will be guided in breathing techniques that support their current level and needs, as well as exercises to go deeper at a safe and steady pace. The subtle anatomy and how to locate and engage the Bandhas will be discussed in detail.

All levels of experience are welcome and participants are asked to bring their own mats.
