Explore similarities and differences of Eastern spiritual traditions with Jungian psychology. Wisdom traditions from ancient India devised four disciplines that can be seen to correspond with four patterns of temperament observed by C.G. Jung. To simplify the task of self development, one finds a spiritual path that best fits one's native temperament. This lecture describes the four paths: Gnani yoga, (thinking); Hatha yoga (sensation); Raja yoga (intuitive); and Bhakti yoga (feeling). Which best fits you?

Jerry Ruhl, PhD, is a clinical psychologist, executive director of The Jung Center, and author, with Robert Johnson, of Balancing Heaven and Earth, Contentment, and Living Your Unlived Life.
