Is there ever a time as a professional caregiver when we can stop asking questions about who we are? Why have we chosen caregiving work? Why do we practice the science and art of caregiving as we do? When the care of another is in our hands, our efforts as caregivers are only as good as our willingness to expand our awareness of ourselves and our work. Raising the right questions, searching in the shadows -- our moments of reflection are critical to ethical practice. This interactive ethics workshop - using lecture, film, and individual and group work - will offer an opportunity to
further explore these fundamental questions.
