Learn about Jung's vital contribution to modern psychology and the study of our spiritual nature. Jung believed that attending to our inner life can guide us to wholeness—to who we are really meant to be. In this workshop, we will explore some of the key personal and professional experiences which led Jung to the development of his theories. At the same time, participants will get a basic overview of Jung’s main concepts, with attention to how they apply to our everyday lives and spiritual reality. Through lecture and discussion, participants will begin to gain a familiarity with the foundation of Jung's work – and discover the resources in Jungian psychology for finding our way back to our spiritual source in a world full of distractions. Film clips will be used to illustrate different theories and concepts.
Erica Lorentz, MEd, LPC, ADTR, Jungian analyst, is in private practice in Houston and is an LPC supervisor. She has taught and supervised on the graduate level. Since 1980, she has lectured and facilitated workshops in the United States and Canada.
